Suicide rates were increasing through 2018. I heard that they had declined somewhat after that but I think the Covid pandemic throughs a whole new curve at probabilities.

I don’t have any information of how it breaks out for LGBTQ communities.

The CDC reports, “Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men are at even greater risk for suicide attempts, especially before the age of 25.”

I believe — but don’t have data — that the numbers for suicides in older men who have sex with men (MSM) are higher because many of these men lead secret same-sex lives.
