Sometimes suicide may be a rational choice. For most of the people I work with, it is not. It is a symptom of depression, and depression is treatable. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

I'm confused, though. Why is suicide the only option to stop pretending to be someone you're not? I think there could be alternatives.
