The fact that there is so little written about men coming out in midlife is what led to my writing my book, Finally Out. I’ve talked with a lot of men like you and me.
We’re often invisible within the LGBTQ community, and frankly, some of the harshest criticism I’ve received is from our own community. “You have no balls! You used your wife!”
A couple of social (not hookup) groups on Facebook are a good place to connect, Prime Timers and Gay Men after 60. Many have been married, have children, and understand the complications of that.
You are definitely not alone.
