Member-only story
I’ve been relatively successful on Medium in a short period of time, with several articles reaching a few thousand views, but this story is something of an exception.
The few months since it was published, it has been viewed over eight thousand times, and 98% of the views are external, mostly from Google. I’ve earned less than $10.00 from medium members.
I don’t know the precise explanation, but I assume it must be a topic for which many people are searching, and perhaps not much has been written.
Perhaps I got the SEO just right, as Cynthia Marinakos wrote about in SEO Writing Tips for Beginners in The Writing Cooperative.
