I'm one of those people who prefers the word "queer," and that may be unusual for someone in my generation. We grew up being called sissy and queer.

I think we are free to use whatever label we wish for ourselves.

But when we speak of alternatives COLLECTIVELY, LGBTQ does not include everyone. But what about the demisexual, intersex, pansexual, asexual, and on and on? For me, "queer" incorporates a multitude of ways we express ourselves sexually that are alternatives.

But maybe even queer is too limiting. Aren't we all just sexual beings?
