I used to believe this, too, Jajuan, but I don’t anymore.

I’m a fat old man now and some of those hot young guys only like men with big bellies and grey hair.

But I don’t dismiss what you’re saying. I’ve known that loneliness you describe. It is so painful when you want someone to be a part of your life and he just doesn’t show up. And the more you search for him, the more you get disappointed.

So take some advice from a fat, old gay man:

First of all, don’t give up hope. He’s out there looking for you.

Finally, in the meantime, focus on developing a close circle of friends. Those will be in your life for the long term and they will surround you during those darkest moments.
