I LOVE HUGS

Men typically hug with chests together and pelvises as far apart as possible. It's usually accompanied by three quick pats on the back. And then BREAK.

One of the best parts of being gay is the hugs I get and give, and they are one of the things I miss most about this pandemic.

I'm not talking about sex. I'm talking about a no-holds-barred, don't-give-a-shit-what-anyone-thinks embrace. A hug that says I care about you. I accept you. I'm glad you're in my life.

I've occasionally had those kind of hugs with a straight friend, too, but they are the exception.

Men miss out on a lot.
